Who Are We, What Do We Do?
The unit carries out activities related to the career planning, implementation, and development of Üsküdar University students and graduates, and also provides support for all activities related to on-the-job vocational training, field practice, and internship processes during academic terms. The set of duties within the Department is as follows:
- To create the activity calendar for Applied Courses and Workplace Professional Training that students are required to complete during the academic term by working in coordination with the relevant departments, to inform students about activity locations, and to ensure the continuity of the process
- To inform internship coordinators and or students who request assistance in finding internship placements and to support them throughout the process
- To communicate with relevant parties and support the process in cases where students experience occupational accidents
- To act as a bridge between students and companies in cooperation regarding job and intern placement
- To plan internal and external events that will support the career development of students and graduates
- To maintain the recognition of our university among sectoral companies
- To provide resume and career counseling to students and graduates
- To provide students, upon request, with opportunities to gain interview experience with industry representatives
- To conduct interviews with graduate students who have gained work life experience
- To provide support to students throughout the application and operational process of the National Internship Program
